Most times using a keyboard shortcut is quicker than using a mouse. Sometimes though, it’s a nifty combination of the two that does the trick!
The standard way of moving a column within a range of data is to right-click on the column header, select “Cut”, then right click on the Column to the right of where you want to insert it and select “Insert Cut Cells”.
Quicker method? Use your mouse – to Drag and Drop! The trick though is to hold down the shift key at the same time to force an insert as opposed to an overwrite.
